Teddy
Cruz
Born
in Guatemala, Teddy Cruz received M.Des.S. from the Harvard University
Graduate School of Design. Principal of the firm estudio teddy cruz,
he is also on the faculty of Woodbury University and the Southern
California Institute of Architecture where he founded the LA/LA
Latin America/Los Angeles Workshop. Cruz's designs and written work,
including his Young Architects submission Living Rooms at the Border,
A Border City's Church Renovation to Community Center, Public Gardens
and Affordable Housing, reflect his ongoing involvement in work
that straddles the border of Latin America and the United States.
In the past year he was the winner of a P/A Design award and an
ASCA Robert Taylor Teaching Award.
